How long have you been doing this?
I began studying photography in 2014 while pursuing a degree in advertising. I purchased my first professional camera for a photography class and knew I wanted to keep exploring with it. I started doing portrait photography in 2016 when a friend asked if I would take senior photos of her daughter. In 2018 I began to work with a wedding photography company and worked until Covid shut down the wedding industry. Now I enjoy running my own studio, and doing nature photography in my spare time!
How do we get our photos?
Your photos will be available to you in the Client Portal of this website. They will be available for download, or you can order prints right on the website.
Whats your turn around time?
The turn around time varies depending on the number of photos taken, and the number of photos delivered. We can discuss this when scheduling your photo event and selecting your package.
Of course, there is a shorter turn around time for smaller events/packages, and longer turn around for larger events. More extensive retouching will also add time to delivery. If necessary, I can do a Rush Order for an additional charge.
Can you help us with planning?
I can guide you with planning details such as clothing, locations, time of day, and schedule of photography events at parties or weddings.
What should we do for an engagement session?
For your engagement photo event, choose a place that is special to the two of you - where you went on your first date, your favorite beach, camping spot, metro-park, concert venue, downtown area, etc. This is your story!
How many photos do we get?
Depending on the time window scheduled and the package selected for your shoot, you could receive anywhere between 15 and 100 photos!
I can also customize a package to fit your needs.
Do you retouch photos?
Yes, I generally adjust exposure and saturation as needed, and small imperfections. More extensive retouching is available for an additional charge.
How do we book you?
You can reach out to me for booking at my email address, or fill out the contact form on this website. I will respond within 48 hours by email initially, and ideally we will schedule a phone interview to answer questions and schedule your event. Before your photo event we will meet in person to discuss details and secure a deposit to save your date.
How far out do you book?
Usually I can get you on my schedule within 30-60 days for smaller events. There is always, of course, a chance that I will be booked on your desired date, so early booking is recommended.
What should we wear?
You should wear something fitting for the event that we are photographing. Wear something comfortable in a color and style that is flattering to you, and coordinate with others being photographed. You don’t have to be identical but try not to clash.
We can discuss clothing when we meet if you are unsure about something.
